Full Time Staff

Judi Cook

Judi comes to TCNJ with 16 years of experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid and online courses for public university in Massachusetts. She now serves as TCNJ’s first Director of Instructional Design, where she provides training and professional development opportunities for faculty who wish to integrate technology in their teaching and learning. She is a member of the Teaching and Learning Program Council and works closely with the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to support our faculty and students.

Ryan Gladysiewicz
Associate Director

Ryan is the associate director for the Office of Instructional Design at TCNJ. He most recently adjuncts for the School of Business, teaching Information Concepts and Database Management Systems, and sits on several TCNJ committees, as well as the NJEDge Annual Conference Program committee. He enjoys working with others on technology and exploring the many ways it can be used.

Suzanne Miller
Office Manager

Suzanne is office manager and has been at TCNJ for 30 years.  She manages the student assistants and helps support classroom instruction with a variety of services available to the campus community.


Valerian Anderson
Web Applications Developer

Valerian manages web-based curriculum development projects, writes web applications, and provides support and training for faculty in the use of the learning management system and other course relevant technologies. His prior experience includes roles as a higher education information technology director, strategic planner, and teacher. He holds a Master’s degree in computer science from Kent State University.

Ellen Farr
Instructional Designer

Picture of Ellen FarrEllen is an instructional designer in the Office of Instructional Design at TCNJ. She has taught in TCNJ’s School of Education for 20 years and has significant experience with universal design for learning and inclusive education. She draws upon this experience and her doctoral expertise to support the faculty’s pedagogical goals. She enjoys exploring new options and collaborating with faculty to integrate technology into coursework. Ellen earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/History and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology both from TCNJ. She earned her Doctor of Education degree in the design of learning environments from Rutgers University.

Drew Hopkins
Instructional Designer

Picture of Drew HopkinsDrew Hopkins is an instructional designer for the Office of Instructional Design at TCNJ. He is a recent graduate from The College of New Jersey. Working half of his undergraduate in The Office of Instructional Design, Drew presented workshops on the use of VR and AR in higher education at EdgeCon 2020 and the 20th Annual Instructional Technology Workshop. He is eager to hear from others about how technology has transformed their educational experience.
