Judi Cook
Director

Headshot of Judi CookJudi comes to TCNJ with 16 years of experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid and online courses for public university in Massachusetts. She now serves as TCNJ’s first Director of Instructional Design, where she provides training and professional development opportunities for faculty who wish to integrate technology in their teaching and learning. She is a member of the Teaching and Learning Program Council and works closely with the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to support our faculty and students.

 

Valerian Anderson
Web Applications Developer

Headshot Valerian AndersonValerian manages web-based curriculum development projects, writes web applications, and provides support and training for faculty in the use of the learning management system and other course relevant technologies. His prior experience includes roles as a higher education information technology director, strategic planner, and teacher. He holds a Master’s degree in computer science from Kent State University.

Ellen Farr
Instructional Designer

Picture of Ellen FarrEllen is an instructional designer in the Office of Instructional Design at TCNJ. She has taught in TCNJ’s School of Education for 20+ years and has significant experience with universal design for learning and inclusive education. She draws upon this experience and her doctoral expertise to support the faculty’s pedagogical goals. She enjoys exploring new options and collaborating with faculty to integrate technology into coursework. Ellen earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/History and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology both from TCNJ. She earned her Doctor of Education degree in the design of learning environments from Rutgers University.
